Afterglow 2026 Annual Fundraiser
Our 7th AEW Annual Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, 21st March. This year, we embark on another significant infrastructure project, calling on our community to help us build stronger foundations for the future. Sarnia No 1 Tamil Vidyalayam, located in Badulla, has been officially advised to relocate due to the severe impact of Cyclone Ditwah and ongoing safety concerns at the current premises.
Our goal is to raise sufficient funds to help build a new classroom complex at the school’s new location, so the children can continue their education in a safe and proper environment.
We warmly appreciate your participation and support in this event to help children in need. Thank you for being part of this meaningful effort.

Established as a registered charity in both Australia and Sri Lanka in 2018, AEW has consistently organized fundraising events to channel resources into school infrastructure development. Operated entirely by volunteers, with no paid staff, the organization ensures that over 95% of donations directly contribute to our projects.
The majority of our funds are generated through public events like stage dramas, gala dinners, and the generosity of donors in Australia and Sri Lanka.
As we persist in extending assistance to underprivileged children in rural areas within our reach, we invite your generosity to further our mission.
